In my Trust, I am the Lead Clinician in Gynae Cancer and have considerable Teaching/Training experience as well as a 14 year leadership/administrative role as the Director of Medical Education. I am also the Trust’s Associate Responsible Office/Lead Appraiser and SAS Tutor. I introduced and continue to facilitate a leadership training module (Franklin Covey’s: 7 Habits of highly effective people). This is a mandatory training course for all consultants and senior managers.
My main passion is volunteering to support developing countries. I have considerable experience and my main area of expertise is training in Emergency Obstetrics and Neonatal Care (EmONC). I have initiated and conducted EmONC training for participants in the UK and several developing countries. Dr. Mohan Raut, MD (Gyn &Obs), DGO, finished his graduation from the well-known Seth G.S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. His MBBS degree was graced with the top position in Gynecology & Obstetrics in 3rd year MBBS Examination. Dr. Raut went on to achieve his MD from Mumbai University.
In 1992, Dr. Mohan Raut was a part of International Multicentric Research Program in association with Oxford University on the role of Active Immunotherapy in Recurrent Miscarriages. Later, he had been involved in the Active Immunotherapy programme (LIT therapy) at H.N. Hospital, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Usha Krishna. He has contributed a chapter on Immunotherapy in Repeated Miscarriages in the book “Pregnancy At Risk : Current Concepts” published by FOGSI. He has published papers and spoken in International Conferences on the topic of Immunotherapy in Repeated Miscarriages. His grave concern for women infertility led him and his wife Dr. Mugdha Raut to lay the foundation of Dr. Raut’s Women’s Hospital , which was the first to introduce India’s first ever gynecological counseling center. He supplemented his expertise with specialization in infertility. He has also tied up with German IVF Firm - Morpheus Life Sciences for IVF Treatment.
Dr. Mohan Raut, along with his wife, Dr. Mugdha Raut, has launched a registered charitable trust, Dr. Raut’s Immunotherapy Foundation, with the objectives of making available immunotherapy to those who cannot afford it and to conduct research in the field of Reproductive Immunology.

Previously, he was a consultant in urogynaecology at the Clinica Ostretica e Ginelogica at Insubria University, Varese, Italy as well as a consultant in Female Pelvic Floor Dysfunction of the Health Committee of the Senato della Republica Italiana.
He is coordinator of the project for the subspecialty in Urogynaecology in Italy. He is also President of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA).
Dr Salvatore has previously served as scientific Chairman of the annual meeting of the International Continence Society in 2003 and Chairman of the annual meeting of the International Urogynaecological Association in 2009.
Dr Salvatore received his medical degree for the university of Pavia in 1989, where he subsequently obtained his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1994.
During his career, Dr Salvatore has authored more than 180 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and few book chapters. He is Chair of the ICI book – Incontinence - on Pathophysiology of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. His research interests include all of the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of female pelvic floor dysfunction.
